FAQS
What Should I Expect?
TRIAL RUNS
We recommend that you set up a trial run 2-4 months before the wedding! If you would like to set up a trial before booking that is not a problem! You will want to book a trial run immediately. Please keep in mind we are working with brides on Saturdays; a trial run may need to be planned during a week day. Trial runs generally takes two hours. Feel free to bring a buddy, hair accessories, or any jewelry to your trial! We ask you have guided ideas in mind; coming to a trial run not knowing what you are envisioning for your wedding day will not set us up for success.
HOW DO I BOOK?
Thank you! When you have decided to book please email Kimberly back as soon as you can (select "Contact" under the menu above to fill out the form). You will then be sent the booking details! Poetically Brushed is unable to hold wedding dates until you have completely booked. Everything is made clear for all our brides in the contract! We will not spring on any surprises!
WHAT DOES A WEDDING DAY LOOK LIKE?
All stylists will show up 15 minutes before the scheduled time to set up. We ask for a well lit area with table space and seats. You will be provided with a schedule for all the contracted services to ensure a smooth day! Based on the time you need to be done, that will dictate starting time and the number of stylists onsite for you and your party. Additional services for a stylist staying onsite is available, otherwise once all services have been completed the Poetically Brushed team will head on out.
HOW TO BE WEDDING DAY READY!
It is so important that everyone has completely dry hair! This does mean washing your hair the day before. We do recommend you apply styling products from your last wash to maximize your hair. For frizzy or curly hair please use smoothing products; for limp or straight hair use volumizing products.
We do not provide a lip color so please bring one to touch up! We recommend having a curling iron and hairspray onsite for touch ups.
